Another Halloween snowstorm. Started snowing here at 2:30 pm. We may get a couple feet before it's done.

Sure was.Wasn't it exactly one year ago for the last big snowstorm?
I would rather have the snow, than floods. I ran away with the carnival when I was 16, ended up in the Johnstown, Pa. flood back in 77. Wasn't fun at all.Be safe over there. We may be floating away here before too long if it doesn't stop raining!
I've got about 5 inches right now, near blizzard conditions here.Im hoping that we dont get that 3'.
Don87,
How are you making out? How much did you get ? Hope your doin' ok.
The last 3 pics were taken at 11:30 am, the pic of the pickup was taken at 7:30 am. I can normally drive under the pine tree limbs with My GC2400, and the Rops do not touch the limbs. I'm estimating over 18 inches so far, and it's still snowing and blowing. TV news just said another 2 to 6 inches of snow in my area, but then again............I was only supposed to get 2 to 3 to begin with:confused3:
Cat_Driver said:Just so I'm clear when it's HOT it's Global arming and when it Rains it's Global warming and when it Snows in the South in Oct. ...ALSO GLOBAL WARMING.
Do these Global warming Nuts have ANY common sense?
The most common misconception is equating 'weather and climate', they are totally different. The more correct term is "climate change". While the changes are primarily due to global warming, but some folks don't understand the concepts of how a warmer earth could possibly create a snowstorm- hence a better description was needed.
