I can't seem to find a good one....THAT WILL LAST. I bought this one, and it's so so.... and today it blinked, then produced only a very dim light. I bought because of the ratings, but think Amazons ratings are very misleading. https://smile.amazon.com/Alert-Stam...rouble+light&qid=1563305958&s=gateway&sr=8-27

What are you using....recommend? I've used a handheld Fenix PD35, it's good....but it needs a magnet or something. My teeth aren't good to hold it in place. I've also used this... https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B014JUMTXM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 with pretty good results, but I need a brighter more flood type. Probably an led with magnet....but no more going just on Amazon's ratings.

I use rechargeable flashlights to seek out trouble. My main two - Makita, DML802 and MagLite, ML150LRX. The Makita has a flat base. It's sits well. The MagLite throws a white lite - bright beyond compare. For tight situations - Nebo Redline RC rechargeable.

I use a LED headlamp. I have numerous ones lying around from my caving days.

I use Olight flashlights and have had very good luck with them.

My Fenix really gives out good light too.....it's just making it shine where you want without holding in your teeth. That type of quality light with some type of magnetic handle that can swivel the light...I think....would be the berries.

If u have any cordless equipment such as a drill, look to see if that same company sells a light that uses the same battery system (14v, 18v, etc.). I happen to have a Bosch, but I know that Milwaukee, Mikita, Dewalt, Porter Cable, all sell lights.

I have the same light randy41 has, it's bright and its tough, I have had it for a long time and have dropped it many times and it just keeps on working.

Another vote for Olights..Fenix & streamlight would be my next choices..

I had a couple of cheapies from Princess auto that had a magnet on the base and the head pivoted. Not many places where I could not deploy it effectively. Unfortunately the cells fail. I wish they used common replaceable cells like a nicad AA. Or you could grab some Alkaline battteries in a pinch. I swear people that design these things, never really use them.

I am changing a lot of my lights to USB rechargeable, absolutely over trying to find the charger packs and there are so many laying around.

I was in Rural King and saw a small led light 700 lumens for $5. It has to stand or hang, no magnet, but price was right.

Next time in Harbor Freight I need to shop..... BUT..... Do like the Olight mentioned here.

I can’t offer an opinion on the light but I CAN recommend these switchable magnetic hangers by Magswitch. Mine has a 20 pound pull but they are also available in 40 pound.
