sorry 30builder if sommthing stung in my previous post. it wasn't dirrected at YOU. just a general rant about how some builders will do things and then try & convince the homeowners that it is the way it is now done. (ask the gent who had a golf ball end up landing on ihs bed, (it came through his WALL not the window /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif ) Yes I agree foam helps the R-value but not the STRUCTUAL value. we did a LOT of high value homes & condos, they are builders & subs with a eye to integrety, but still can have some problems if not watched.
I agree that there are a lot of subs that use a lot of profanity & wis out windows ect, not way we did/do things... big problem latly is the lack of payments on time or that they want to try & get something cheaper or for nothing. I'm OUT of the buisless and work in a industrial plant, (more steady work and less headachs.)
ANYHOW this is not a great place for the discussions for sheating a pole barn /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif my bad.
