Just realized, it was one year ago (04/06/2001) that Muhammad changed the forum from the old format to the new format! Remember the confusion that first night as we all logged on and groped through the new way? But, sure enough we adjusted; sure enough the new was indeed better than the old. It was just that some of us had to be retrained /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif.

So, I would like to propose a toast to Muhammad, for a successful year! /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Yeah, we were just shy of 40,000 posts in one year... which is a pretty solid mark. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif They add up rather quickly.

I wonder if anyone remembers the day the first (old, old, old) instance of what would become TractorByNet.com went online? /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif I can only think of a few members that would have been around (posting anyway) then. Hint: first quarter of 1998.

Wow! You spooked me with this thread title, Roy!

Today (actually Thursday) was my 14th wedding anniversary, and I couldn't understand how you knew! /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

I think I came in shortly after you got all this started. The forums has really become something great!

Yes indeed, I remember you being around very early on. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif Great to see those who have been here from the beginning still posting. I don't want to start listing people since I'm sure I'll forget a bunch. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

Hear, Hear!!!

Funny how a lot of us ended up finding this site......looking for info on Kubotas. It sure has grown into a very cool forum for everyone that appreciates compact tractors.

Maybe the guys at Harvard Business School will use this as a case study on how a niche web site has grown so rapidly, with what I would guess to be a really diverse group of users. Just plain cool.
