Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

I can't speak for the Bosch bench tools. I absolutely love my Knipex pliers wrenches and cobra wrenches. Very expensive. These are perfect to put on your xmas list for your family members that don't have a clue on what to get you. They will raise their eyebrows but... They can buy you one each year off of amazon. That reminds me... I need to make that little list! :D

DING DING DING..... 10,000th post..!! On HF tools that don't suck!

10,002 post.

Continuing my tool box organization.

Harbor freight sells a Wrench-It-To- You organizer that I bought today.

I eliminated my socket overflow drawer, I dumped all of the triplicate sockets into a 50 caliber ammo box that was empty on a shelf and put it back on the shelf. Then I moved metric wrenches with that new HF wrench organizer over to the right hand stack right beside the old mixed wrench drawer. So both drawers are side by side, SAE in the left towards the back wall, metric to the right towards the work bays. Metric is the most commonly used today.

So that makes for a much cleaner wrench storage. I'll get another Wrench-It-To-You tomorrow to go in the SAE drawer. And I'll get my 32nd free tarp....

I also learned from Red Beards Den Of Tools that all of the toolbox options will be coming out in the new rainbow of color options. So im going to hold off buying the 72" base and 56" top chest until I can get them in Kubota Orange. 20181026_194306.jpeg20181026_202712.jpeg20181026_202002.jpeg20181026_202729.jpeg

DING DING DING..... 10,000th post..!! On HF tools that don't suck!
Whoa... cool! Where is my 30% off HF coupon that works for tool chests?

Actually quite amazing how this thread has turned out. Shows HF is doing pretty well, at least with TBNers!

Multi process... but no AC Tig, so no aluminum. Personally, I wouldn't buy one that didn't offer the option to also do aluminum. I've never welded aluminum, but my next machine will have that ability so that if I want to teach myself aluminum, I can.

What isle are the T-50 staples on?
Go straight back to the back wall, make a right and top the end if the tarps that are on the back wall on your right. Stop at the end if the tarps, turn 90 degrees to tie right, your looking at the "clearance" end cap if isle 12. There you'll see the rivets, the nails and the staples as well as some others.

I actually stop at my local HF at least 4 days a week and spend an hour looking at stuff. I now have a stack of 27 free tarps, 10 of the tape measures and 8 of the magnet strips. The employees know me by name, the regional manager is there every Tuesday and comes out and walks with me most of the days that he's there..... I have a real problem....

Can you point us to such a machine? One that does multi process (mig, tig, stick) with AC TIG at 200 amps and is a good brand name and comes in for about $650?

There is none at $650, add another $1200 or so to that, and your in the ballpark.

I already have a $1600 Thermal Dynamics / Thermal Arc that doesn't do aluminum. I'll never make that mistake again.

I'd suggest a tarp intervention at least. I have 3 or 4 and think that's too many. Maybe you should start on the moving blankets and work on a padded room.

But honestly, i have a mental problem that tells me that i must stock many of everything. I can't buy less than 3 of an item that is a consumable. Sometimes 6. I can't control it. I'd the stores run out of what you need during the zombie apocalypse, it's okay. I've likely got 10.20181027_192017.jpeg20181027_192053.jpeg20181027_192113.jpeg20181027_192132.jpeg20181027_192309.jpeg20181027_192328.jpeg
