If you have junk in the lines.. You could still stop up the small screen & flow restrictor where the water comes out..Even in the new fixture. Wouldn't hure to check it.. It should just screw off (hand tight)
You have a clog somewhere in the system if only the sink is a problem. Start at screen on faucet and then go towards main line until you have good pressure. Once i had large piece of iron in valve in a house with all copper pipe
Did you flush the lines when you had the faucet off? I had my hot line reduced to a trickle by a particle the size of a large grain of sand. I also discovered that the telescoping head was fouling everything because there is an exposed spring in the hose that was rusting and shedding rust particles.
It doesn't have much to do with getting flow back to your faucet, but curious if you've drained the hot water heater to get any sediment out? I've got fairly hard water and had some pretty sizable bits come out into a bucket.
