It does SEEM that they work just fine, if you come in dead straight and the implement and tractor are level to each other,
otherwise I might as well do things the regular way.
I have to get off the tractor to hook up everything else anyway, top link, hydraulics, PTO, etc., so where's the "quick" ?
I shouldn't "BASH" them though.
I hooked mine up a few minutes ago and I was WRONG about the A-frame - it is in fact on the 6 ft King Kutter tiller.
Take note that the additional set back COULD require a longer shaft if your existing one is near its max safe extension length.
The angle cylinder on my HARLEY rake (not Woods) looks like a fairly standard small cylinder with fork ends.
Not sure I would mess with re-building it, given the age of mine I will probably just replace it if/when it leaks noticeably.
There is a sticker mine with the number 709864 on it - again, this may just be a HARLEY number that is of no use
on a Woods rake.
I would take a couple of measurements and check here;

In case anyone (other than Swimbo) questions my sanity in hooking this up TODAY, here is why:
I have been scraping snow away and took the top off some surface roots.
While the ground is FROZEN and I have little else better to do I thought I would EXPERIMENT with getting those roots down
to where they don't matter.
I am HOPING that the frozen ground will hold onto them and they won't whip around like they might when the soil is soft.
