Are you talking about a Disk harrow? Remember, the term harrow is fairly broad.
Here's another thread worth reading about the same thing...that is if you mean a disk harrow.

I have a three point disc that I just love. It has done every job I have asked it to fine and when I am done...just lift and go. It has been perfect for my situation. I have a mile of paved road and once off road, I make a lot of tight turns on logging trails on my way to the field that I work on. It is only a 5 foot disc but I do not mind the seat time! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I just looke dat an older 6' 3pt disc harrow this afternoon. Neat setup. the disc is actually on a seperate subframe than the 3pt lift frame. It has about 6" of travel due to slotted connectors front to back, and side to side. Guy only wants 300$ for it.. I'm thinking of buying it.. looks like it will follow ground terain much better than a fixed 3pt.. but is still liftable like the 3pt.. kinda like a drag/3pt mixed together.

I have used both. If you want to level land, the drag is the only way to go. I have always had trouble keeping both gangs in the ground with a 3pt disc-harrow. It just seems the drag is more versatile. You can level with it, adjust it out a bit and drag a ditch. It is a little more to manuever around, but I think its worth the trade off.

I don't recall the model #, but Ford made a 3-point disc that had a pivoting hitch that would allow the gang frame to "float" independent from the tractor. They weren't overly popular, but worked quite well, all facts considered.

I looked all over for a tag.. but could find none.. but then I was in a hurry coming back from lunch. If it was a ford.. I'd deffinately buy it. I already have a way old ford dual ganged dis tha tis worse for wear. Would go great with my ford tractors.
I may have to stop back buy nd look at it again.
