Well, then, it appears I was horribly mistaken....

You ever eat those hogs or are you tired of it by now?

We use to trap them and feed them out but not anymore not really big on it. We may mix small sow when get a deer to mix in sausage.

What comes out the barrel is for them:D Gary I was going to get a AR but didn't won't to spend the money and if they run off and die just means I don't have to fool with them. Even if doesn't kill them maybe they will get the point to go somewhere else
Why don't you have some fun and blow them up with an exploding target? There are several ( hundred ) videos of doing that on YouTube.

Had the opportunity to 'downsize an old piano with such means. We'd sprayed it with .30-06 black tips, 5.56 Nato, some ~250g cast from Nick's .375/.444 encore and various 9mm and .40 S&W fodder. All punched clean holes thru wood and cast iron.

We started with ~1/2 lb on keyboard cover, just to the right of center. The second 'boomer' was a 2 pounder placed on the center of the cover.

As to the Hi-Point's eye-catching good looks, IMO Walther has pretty much captured the essence with their new PPQ .45 Auto. :D

I set a 1/2 thick 6" diameter steel plate on top of a 1 pound target. I shot the target with my 22 hornet. I wasn't able to find the steel plate. I also videoed it and I could see the shock wave, but not the steel. We also decided to shoot one Christmas Eve. When we went home there was a police car sitting in a drive way 1/4 mile down the road. If any of you guys haven't shot one they are extremely loud. Much louder then a high powered rifle.

I think that's C flat.

I think that's C flat.

Flat on its face, interestingly. Apparently the pressure contained (by the ground) at pedal level far exceeded that above the blast center. As it the piano tilted toward the blast (going back all of 10' to rest) that pressure also got well under the crumbling bits.

With barely a breeze there were splinters and flakes of veneer landing 20 - 40 yd in all 4 directions. I would call the blast intensity ('Star Targets' 2 1/2 lb) comparable to or a tad more than an M-26 grenade. We shot from 75yd. Impressive destruction, so IMO C flat major. :)

You think about stuff like that and it gets interesting. Where the charge was placed, the relationship to the ground, the heavy components in the soundboard, etc.... never know which way what will go.

Well, I ended up with a Ruger GP100ss in .357. (For now.) Actually it was way more than I had planned to spend but I first bought a used SP101, took it home, fired it twice and knew that it wasn't what I wanted. They also had a nice Springfield 1911ss, which may find it's way under my tree for Christmas. (It's a present Dave, from me to ME.:D)
