kristinalva---Well, this is an old thread and I went with two 500 gallon tanks. When, or if I move and can take the second one with me. Plus, around here you still sell the one with the house that you own. As I may or may not have mentioned, the 1,000 gallon tank didn't exactly fit and would have required a lot of extra effort.
To me it seems it's equally as "safe" or safer in that one tank is always off and the tanks are 100 ft from the house. More on the plus side, I just filled up for the winter at $1.09 so my payback has been faster than anticipated. One large or two small; either way the ability to tie a larger purchase to seasonal price swings has paid off.
Any pics of your 2014 Eicher tractor? I don't think I have ever seen one.
