Have a lot of brush hogging to do, need tractor

LOL You guys are like drug dealers trying to get this poor guy hooked! Just go look, you dont have to buy! If you take one step on a dealer lot, you wont be able to kick the habit. I know, because I once lived a tractor free life.

Seriously, 0% with 60 and 72 months are everywhere. That is what ultimately swayed me to new. I also encourage you to look into it. You can easily get a $200 a month payment for a brand new tractor, sized to your needs, that has a warranty and will do anything you want it to do. You said you will be building a house soon also. This will make the process a lot more fun. You can put your money in the bank to save up some more, or you can get a free loan and have a tractor now. Don't rush it, thoroughly analyze your needs, wants and look at all the different options and figure out what makes the most sense for your application. Have fun (trust me, you will)

A small dozer is a pretty good brush clearer,and might be simpler for you to just push the brush up into piles,than burn it,if you can. Should take less time too.

Buying a used anything is taking a chance,unless you know the owner pretty good.

As far as keeping it mowed once cleared and size,just depends on how big a hurry you are,5ft light duty hog and 25 -30 hp tractor,will work just fine,you only need to mow it once a year or twice,but of course a wider hog and more hp tractor will be faster.

Bigger ain't always better for other things you might want to use tractor for,but than again,bigger is a must for some things.
