Kubota BX25\
Thanks to you all, a BX25 is sitting in my shed.

Now I need a tiller and an auger - any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Nothing too heavy, just a homeowner enjoying life here.

Thank you

Congrats on your fine choice of tractor. I can't speak on the tiller but for an auger, a Leinbach 7200JR matches up perfectly with the BX series.

Congratulations on your new tractor.

I use a Land Pride RTR0550 on my BX2660 and we really like it.

Congrat's on the new BX25. Don't have either implement you're looking for, but a lot of guys here like the King Kutter (or is it KKII) tillers. Might want to check for similar threads over in the attachments forum.

I think its really a what you can afford price for tiller. I have a bushhog brand tiller and its a 40 inch that came from my kubota dealer. sometimes I wished i had a 48 inch to covere tracks, but it works great otherwise. Either go to your kubota dealer and see what they got or go with local TSC store.

I have a little 37' Muratori tiller and a full sized Greene Post Hole Digger (an auger is just the "bit", while the PHD is the "drill"). I have my PHD boom modified so that I can put barbell weights on it for downpressure. That and a carbide tip are necessary for me to dig in the Duripan that's 12"-30" below the surface of my clay topsoil. Land Pride offers a hydraulic down pressure kit that goes with their PHDs, including the PD10, sized for sCUTs. For my full sized PHD to work on my BX, I have to connect the closest notch on the boom arm to the U bar, and also move the tractor forward as the auger sinks. I have a 42" auger with an 18" extension.

I have a woods auger on my BX24 and it's a good match. If you do go to TSC, be sure to buy lube for the gearbox. TSC ships them dry and will sell it to you dry. Their auger bits are fine, but I'd shop around for the hardware.

Thank you all. I was able to use the TroyBuilt this spring, but I'm not getting any younger and with this new TOY.... well, you know.

I love this little puppy!!!

I used this tiller last year on a BX2660 and will use it this year on my BX25.
I used this PHD on a B3200 and my nephew has it on his BX2360 to use it.
