Where is the sport in shooting a mouse

I don't know about the sport in it but that means one less mouse to chew up the wiring in my vehicles and tractors, spread disease in my feed and to my family, create havoc and the awful smell in my barns, get in my house, and NOT run across my wife's arm in the middle of the night and about get me killed with her trying to get out of bed!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

We have a 410 Mausburg pistol grip pump with an 18" barrel. I payed $99 back in 92, I bought for my wife to keep in the house for home security, as she is uncomfortable with pistols. Trust me, sounds just as big as 12gauge in the DARK... Fortunatley she has never had cause to need it. But I make her practice with it often any way. No Kick even with 3 in magnums.
I have considerd finding a way to carry it on the tc21. But would realy like to cary it overhead in the canopy, if I can find a safe secure way to do so. If not, I guess it will be down low some where. I don't need it for mice, I have a JR for that, he gets them quick and has fun doing it...Along with the occasional wabbit! or gopher rat... and so on. Just have to keep up his shots....

BTW I have seen a 410 pistol at a gunshop before. I would think i would fall under the pisto regs and need to be used with slugs.. Bet it would kick tooooo....

Perhaps y'all should try live-traps, and relocation... I hear its quite popular for other critters... up north. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Several companies (like American Derringer) make .45/.410 derringers. Other companies (like BFR) make .45/410 revolvers. Not as easy to find as a Ruger or Beretta, but they are certainly out there in numbers.

Can one legally shoot at an animal from a vehicle in FL?
)</font>

I would have to say yes.. as I've heard of the police pulling over a drunk guy riding on a tractor. For a legal test.. I would have to guess it classifies as a vehicle in the same way a boat or airplane does.

As far as I know you can shoot from the seat of a vehicle.. as long as it is not on a public road. ( can't shoot from the road.. or over a road.. etc ).

Richard,
The electronic rodent repellers will keep the mice out of the house and barn. I have been using them for 2 years and NO mice. Was covered up with them before starting to use the rodent repellers.

I bought mine at Sams Club for about 20.00 for a package of 4 I believe. One of the best buys I have ever made /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
