It's a male bonding thing, get it? And besides, it helps us in keeping from asking stupid questions like what kind of tractor do you have and what type of engine is in it. General location is a big plus because there are also climatic considerations in most cases.
Sometimes replying to an ambiguous post will ferret out more useable information.
Most folk don't have a chip and just like to help out, but alas, some don't.![]()
I don't see where posts on this site have anything to do with "male bonding". Are female tractor owners excluded because they can't "male bond"?
If a Chinese tractor owner has a legitimate question about problems with his\her tractor, he\she should be more specific about their problem rather than posting an ambiguous question like daveholcomb did. He also does not have any information in his "profile", nor did he reply to my post asking for more detail about his problem.
If I have a problem with my tractor you can be sure that I will post all revelent info about make, model, hours and anything else that would help other members in diagnosing my problem.
As far as having a "chip", I have noticed that certain members do certainly have a "chip" and try to run rough-shod over other posters with their posts.
greg certainly didn't hesitate to jump all over me with his reply to my post. Is this "male bonding"?
