Have you had troubles finding ammunition ? 12 gauge and .22 ?

I went to my local gun store today to get some 22LR and 22WM. This is what I use to keep the population of ground hogs in check. The store seemed low on just about everything. The ammo was well picked over, only a few revolvers in the case, and the long-gun rack was 75% empty. I did find ammo I can use, but not in the brands I prefer. Slim pickins overall.

I was shocked to see how they (your legislators) folded so quickly. I guess the big cities have spoken for all the county folks once again.
Totally sickening how the rural people will suffer in your State. I can't imagine those who live in the remote area's will fair, now that they can
no longer buy ammo on line ect. and have to toss their clips. A 10 22 Ruger 22 caliber has a 10 round clip and I don't believe they come any less than that.
Your new laws have the cut off at 7 rounds, I believe.
I hope you remember your legislators come election time..

There is no way I would register it. Are they going to start checking your gun at the range? If not, just keep it at home and if you end up needing it not registering would be the least of your troubles. It is an illegal law. This is why NY and Texas don't belong in the same country. That dog don't hunt.

You got to give Texas credit, they are not about to bow to the king. Their proposed legislation making it illegal for a fed. agency to attempt enforcing Texas State gun laws may be in violation.
