The price is what scared me off from buying last year. I did correspond with them with intent to buy. The problem was the price relative towhat they are offering. Frankly that whole cab looks to be smallish, single thickness construction, & mounted just outside the canopy supports - maybe even mounted to those supports. Built that way without dead air space and sound-deadening insulation, theirs sure doesn't look like the complete wrap-around cab structure that I see on other tractors. Well, maybe I'm wrong. I hope so. That's the problem with not being able to see one in person. But so far I'm not impressed....and certainly not impressed by the price. Did you add all the accessories, shipping, and installation charges all up? I don't have the figures in front of me, but I was floored.
But maybe there is some good to be gotten. Now if that front windshield piece is a separate piece - and it looks to be - then I'd sure go for that piece by itself. That looks enough to install. Then later maybe add some soft roller pull-down clear curtains for the off side and rear. Rolled up, they would store under the canopy edge. And simply leave the entry open. Not a perfect solution, but it would be better than naught in winter.... and for a small fraction of the cost of their cab.
I wonder if Laurin is listening in? If I had a small manufacturing business I'd sure be listening anytime a group of potential customers get together on a forum like this to discuss what they would like to buy.
