Folks, let me know what kind of hay loaders are popular out there. Preferred loader is tractor back loader with minimum 1500 LB baled hay. Any link / picture? Thanks in advance.

American jokes are boring.
Turkish products are the best.

While I am a Turk I make no claims to have the best products. I do think New Holland makes some darn good ones though.

Here we use scissor type lifts with a hay fork to stack round bales 2 bales high or one bale high on a trailer or hay wagon. I usually take a few forklift front ends and make them 3 point attachments to load baled 3 hight on a trailer but it takes a good sized tractor. To load square bales or smaller round bales i use a chain loader in a metal frame its just a modified conveyor belt using ag chain with a spike welded in it every few feet. Back several years aboug they had a home built hayloder that tattchet to trh front or sides of tractors to convey the hay bales uop over the tractor onto the stack.

Taylortractornut, your hay loader (with scissor type lifts with a hay fork) is a home-built one? If not, I'l be glad if you can show its picture on the net. It seems that capacity of yours is not more than 500 lb. What I am looking for is to load 1500-2000 lb of hay by a tractor-back loader. Anyways, thanks for the info.

Robert in NY, you are a Turk? I thought you were Turk. So, you think Turk products are not the best? At least 2 people here don't agree with you in that. They are CCI and I. I see there are many more people out there who don't agree with you. If this wasn't so, the best selling tillers there in USA would not have been Turk tillers.

I didn't say that Turks don't make good products but no one country makes the best of everything. I am proud of my work but I do know others who can do a lot better job then I could. That is all I was trying to say. This board has a lot of US members and it doesn't help you to come out and bash the US products. The USA makes some good products as does Canada, Germany.... and so on but none of these countries can lay claim to making all the best products.

I've used one of those, but my favorite for loose hay was an elevator/rake that followed the wagon. Ground driven it lifted hay to dump in the wagon. Kept two good men busy movin' all that hay to the front of the wagon. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Namad on a 4000 Ford an oldermodel Ive picked up 1500 pound bales wit hthe scissor type both factory and homemade units. I may one now that attaches to the 3 point hitch but it has a cylinder that raises the boom up and one cylinder that dumps the hay. Its a bit easier on the tractors lift. I dont have one made yet but i can try to dig up a few pics. I make mine to hold a bucket or a boom and and spear or forks. With this type you can raise the 3 point and then raise the clinders agin giving more lift height.
