I think she's as safe as it gets.. without having an excess liability insurance policy, a safety net , and a car of defense attorneys and an ambulance following me, plus a police escort ahead of me.. etc..

My luck? A bale of straw falls off the wagon. It lands in front of the car full of attorneys. They run off the road, hitting the ambulance in the proccess.

Everyone on the wagon sues over being traumatized when they saw the wreck.

Police escort turns around and writes me a citation for causing the whole mess.

Good luck! Don't let us cause you to worry about a thing! ;)

Sure sounds like fun!!! I've never been on a hay ride, so it's one of those things that when I see on TV or hear about, that I always want to do. I'm just not sure if I'd rather be driving or riding!!!

I'm looking forward to seeing the pics.

Have fun,
Eddie

Hay rides in the fall and drive in movies! Just like playing tennis.... A LOT more fun with the right "partner"! Drive-In movies? They don't do that anymore do they? Next thing you know, they're going to quit washing your car windows at the gas startion when you buy gas. Oh..........That too huh?

Our church has a Halloween party for the kids. We always have a hay ride with that. I've rode and I've drove too. Riding is the biggest fun, but seeing so many smiling faces is fun no matter what you're doing.

Hey Soundguy,

Thanks for the pictures. You know what they say, a picture is worth a thousand words!!!

I had a mental image in my mind that a hay ride was always on a wagon, not a trailer. It just never occured to me that a trailer would do the job too. (I'm sharing my ignorance here!!)

I have a 16 foot trailer that I could easily pull behind my CUT. We're having a big Christmas Eve party hear and that would be perfect.

Thanks, I'm gonna do some looking around and check with Steph,
Eddie

I'm in summerfield.. it's roughly between ocala and leesburg.

Ya miss it if ya blink too long while driving.

I think you're putting too much thought into it Eddie. I've been on all kinds of hayrides and the only thing they have in common is the ride part. I've been on wagons, trailers, the back of pickup trucks...horse pulled, truck pulled, tractor pulled. Hay or straw, friends, family, strangers, or some combination. Do whatever you want. If kids are riding on top or in back of something outside, they'll be happy!
