Mowing HD60 Mid Mount Mower doesn't install correctly

There is a way to adjust the part in tractor that receives the male spline. The bolt on back side. It should side parallel to ground when dropped all the way. You may adjust bolt in or out if it isn't. Should tell you about it in owners manual

I have yet to hook up my MMM, but I do recall reading somewhere that when you hook it up, make sure the PTO selector switch is not set to the Mid PTO. Apparently if is is set to the Mid PTO, the PTO won't move and may not hook up correctly. Just a thought. Good luck.

OK! Here's the answer:

In the front of the tractor are the front support hangers. Essentially, they are two slots that the front draft link pivot pin slides into. When the pin is all the way in the two slots, the rear lift arms are all the way in the rear lock assembly.

In this case, the right-hand front support hanger was bent! The bend prevented the pivot pin from sliding all the way back. The local dealer's repair guy was able straighten the hanger out with really big crescent wrench.

Now the mower installs correctly under the tractor.
