My point was and is that some people rely on their dealer to maintain their tractors much the same as one would with an automobile. Not everyone has the means to deal with parts coming loose from their tractors, especially the suburban CUT owner on a few acres that has a property too big for a lawn tractor, but doesn't qualify as a farmer. Many of these people would be downright frightened by your post about things coming loose. This is where the competence of the dealer really comes into play.
