I can't contain myself! /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif I just walked back in the house from a 2-1/2 hour plowing session. About 5 acres of worn out alfalfa sod is no longer. Gonna be a tomato/greenbean patch in a few weeks. There's nothing quite like shining up the ol' moldboards! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I used a set of 3X14" John Deere model 416A plows (1958-ish, intended for the 430/435 Deere 2 cylinder tractor) that I restored last fall, on the back of a Deere 2440 (60 HP) High range/1st gear. (5.2 MPH) /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
There's a lot of things a man can do with a tractor, but flipping sod upside down has to be the finest pleasure there is on 4 wheels. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
