This is Prabhakar from Prakasam District, Andhra Pradesh India. Age around 60, just retired from Govt service, had an impeccable record and took up agriculture as a means of livelihood as I know I am not fit anywhere else.
Ran into this website whilst surfing for information on the old tractors.
Physically fit and own about 20 acres of land which is mostly red soil. The entire land is purchased recently and has never been cultivated before. I found hiring tractors is very expensive and hence toying with the idea of Massey ferguson 1035 which is said to be reliable. Going for an old one as it may come cheap and Agriculture is a means to earn a little and more than that it keeps me engaged in a physical activity and suits a fiercely independent life.
