Hi, I am a home owner living in Sweden and have just bought a 1968 JD400 that needs a lot of TLC. My thinking is that a loader with backhoe may come to good use for digging and clearing stumps and big stones. That is, of course, if I can get it running...
I'm used to fixing cars but tractors seem to be a different story, where everything is a lot bigger and heavier. Also, most of my wrenctes are metric so I will have to get some new tools to get started.
US products are not very common in Sweden but my first car was a 1965 Chevy II. I also have a 1938 South Bend 9 lathe and a Toro snowblower.
There seems to be a wealth of knowledge in this forum. Though I'm new to tractors, I hope that I will be able to contribute.
