Hello everyone, I've been lurking here for about a year and finally decided to get off the horse and onto the tractor. I've had a lifelong interest in tractors, although a city dweller, I learned to drive a tractor at age 8 at my uncle's grape farm. I also spent all my high school summers helping to care for 50 head of cattle at a friend of the family's 100 acre farm, some of the best years of my life. My Dad used to work at Massey-Ferguson, first as forklift mechanic, then as Tool & Die designer, eventually ran the stamping plant in Toronto and headed QC there when he was retired by Black and his Argus group of thieves as they drove M-F into the ground, so I come by my love of tractors organically, I miss my Dad dearly, I know he would have loved this forum with all the very knowledgeable and good hearted people here. I, too am glad this forum is here to help bolster my substandard knowledge of all things tractor. I look forward to the future here.
