Tractor
New Holland Boomer 37
I am a new tractor owner, a 2015 New Holland Boomer 37. So far, so good. My neighbor who was also on 12 acres moved away. He was my go to guy to cut my field, about 10 acres and to push some snow. But, when he left, I had to decide to either pay someone to do this work (neighbor did not charge!) or buy a tractor. I found a nice 2015 NH Boomer 37 locally.

I am having fun so far playing Old McDonald, but also see that maintenance on this will take some prep since it is also my first diesel!

I look forward to reading the Forums and even chip in when I can and ask for help!

George

Haha...really. I am in White Stone now (Northern Neck) but live in Western Loudoun, VA.

Welcome from another Virginian... In the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. I've had a tractor of one kind or another for decades... they are practical and - as you've noticed - fun. A rotary cutter and a blade - read will work - are all you need for cutting and snow. Enjoy.

thanks for the warm welcome....I had never heard of this site until I started to look for a tractor. And now I find myself hooked, even reading posts that have nothing to do with me! It is a very nice welcoming community.

thanks Catherine!! I hate to admit it....but cutting 10 acres of grass and weeds should not be so much fun!! Appreciate the welcome! George

Welcome neighbor - from another Western Loudouner. Are you preferential to the farm breweries or the wineries?
