This forum was a welcom recent discovery for its many useful discussions. My wife and I are part-time farmers in christmas trees and we recently purchased a Kioti DK35SE HST with a loader and bush hog ( I will be posting a review shortly). We also have a 20 years old New Holland 1220 similarly equipped.
I came across this site when looking for parts for my tractors - hopefully from third-party vendors. I don't know why tractor parts have to be this expensive. Recently I had to rebuilt my 1220's 3-cylinder engine because it was run without oil (please don't ask me how that happened!) and it cost me in parts as much as it would have cost me to rebuilt two 8-cylinders car engines.
I am a very experienced hobbyist-mechanic, having rebuit many engines (cars, small engines, and one diesel tractor engine). I look forward to learn and contribute with this Forum.
