Hello, my name is Jim, I am a mechanic for a commercial ambulance company. In my spare time I enjoy tinkering . I do not currently own a tractor, unless you doing a pair of riding lawn mowers. I do own a Polaris 4 wheeler that I use as a workhorse. It has a snow plow that I built an extension and a wing for.
Another hobby is a custom homebuilt motorcycle.
I ended up at this site while researching CADTrac loaders.
Either way, I am hoping to build something to serve as a snow plow/ Workhorse.

Welcome to TBN, Jim. You will enjoy hanging out here, a lot of people with your same interests and skills.
Being a long time motorcyclist, I would like to know more about the one you built, we love pictures!

Welcome to TBN! Careful... I didn't own anything except a lawn mower when I joined TBN back in the day, and now my barn is full of implements and a few tractors. It's the best habit-forming addiction you can have!

I bought a used 1991 Harley Davidson 80" Evolution engine. I was told that it had 12,000 miles on it. I have ridden it 60,000 miles myself . the transmission is an aftermarket one that I bought from JP Cycles. It is one of the few new parts that I bought. Most everything I bought used, or from swap meets, I tried to build as much as I could. this is My 14th season riding it

14 years and it's holding up, that's some good lasting work. Amazing what you've done to make a box of parts into something nice.
