HELP, 2210 PTO problems, need electrical scematic!

My 2210 did the same thing after I had done some heavy brush cutting. Along the right side of the transaxle you will find several wires there is a connector...and unfortunately I can't remember exactly where on the right side the connector was. Anyway a stick or something had partially unplugged this connector. Sorry I wish I could help more but I don't have the 2210 anymore so I can't tell you I can send you a pic when I get home.
Here is the way I found it. Set your pto to run the rear or the mid pto (which ever one you are not using so you don't get hurt). Then have someone sit in the seat with the pto engaged. Start gently pulling and prodding with the wiring harnesses and hopefully you will get lucky like I did and find it. Mine quit in the field when I was 40 miles from home and no time to get it in for warranty.....although I wouldn't expect warranty to cover a stick unpluging a connector to be covered.

H20Camper, thanks for the schematic! It's been over a week now and I still haven't seen my Service Manual CD. I guess I need to check on it.
I did locate the problem, it was a loose wire on the pto switch. I sure was fearful that it was the PTO pressure relief solenoid valve.

There just isn't any end play in my steering shaft to hold it up and knock it down. I did try to "tap" on the steering wheel with a large ball peen to hopefully jar it loose, but I didn't want to damage the wheel either. Looks like if I ever want to get the wheel I gotta go find a decent hook-type puller set.

PLEASE! Lay off the hammer, and get a puller. It's just not worth mangling your steering shaft or wheel!
Pullers aren't a high-precision tool - a cheapo will do the job for occasional use.
Harbor Freight, anyone?

Yea, my Service manual CD arrived today!
I haven't looked at it yet, and hopefully I won't have to use it anytime real soon either.
Blueridge, I only tapped on the steering wheel a little bit to see if a slight impact would break the hold. Trust me, I wasn't lookin' to do any damage, I didn't get that mad at it. I also used a punch on the shaft to avoid damaging the threads.
HF might be just the ticket for a puller. I'll have to stop by and see what they have.
