2002 JD4110 HST
Folks ,

I am in need of a 3PH Carryall for my JD4110. I have search all the archives to get info. Tried all the suggested places. Tractor Supply has one however they did not have a way of shipping to New Hampshire. Cost of the carryall was $75.00 , and I am sure that it would cost much more than that to ship it. My John Deere dealer was no help and the local Kubota dealer did not know how to get one either. Can not imagine that this would not be a popular item ??

Can anyone suggest a place that they got one , either a place that will ship to me or a place near southern New Hampshire.

Thanks

Mark

Northern hydraulic has cat 2 carryall's listed for 59.99.. Looks like you could change the pins out easilly.
They will ship anywhere, but keep in mind that truck freight may be as much as the carry all itself.. though.. not too bad if it is your only option.

Their website has pics, and shipping prices.

Soundguy - Actually mine came via UPS from Northern. Don't recall the shipping cost but I'm guessing it was cheaper than truck freight.

I was going to adapt it to fit on one of my old Cubs. After I ordered it I found an original IH/Farmall carry-all so I didn't accept delivery from UPS and therefore no return shipping cost/w3tcompact/icons/clever.gif. Chuck

We actually get many of our heavy equipment parts ups... no boxes even.. just the big ole' hunk of yellow painted iron with a tag on it... Much cheaper than truck freight...

I'n not sure if that carry all just has cat 2 pins.. or is also cat2 dimension ( over 26" ).. but if it will fit his tractor width wise.. the pins are a cheap change out... may need a couple of flat washers to bushing it up... but heck.. this is an external pin on a farm impliment.. not a main bearing on an engine, And I've done the bushing thing on many pins with no problems.

Mark,

Is there anyone you know that has a welder or a welding/fabrication shop nearby ?

It doesn't take much to make one, just find a picture of one, take a few measurements off your tractor.

I had a guy in our maintenance dept make me one, he charged me $25 bucks (we raided the scrap bin at work for angle iron)

Check out TSC 's pallet mover. It can handle 2000lbs and you can add planks or whatever to it. Cost is $150.
The carry-all is not for lifting pallets.

Jim,
You're right...it would be easy for somone with welding experience to fabricate one in just a few hours. If you look at the pics on Sweet Tractors site, you'd see how simple they're put together. And if anyone wants, I'd be glad to take some measurements off of mine.

I have seen several sold at farm auctions here in northern Kentucky. For some reason, they seldom bring over 10-15 dollars.

EDT ,

Thanks for the info , however I purchased my JD4110 from Rosencrants in Londonderry. My salesman did not know were to get one. MB Tractor in plaistow also did not have a clue. Maybe I'll try Rosencrants main office.

cchoate ,

I've called TSC and they have stated that they do not have any shipping company that will ship items of weight to New Hampshire.

I will not be lifting pallets , I am looking for an inexpensive way of transporting the supply of hay I get for the winter for the horses back to the barn. Currrently the loader will only hold 3 or 4 bails depending on size. The clamp on forks would be the best , however not at $500 for the pair.

The carryall forks could handle maybe 10 bails in combination with the few I can get into the loader. Total bails being delivered is @60 , so I will have to make a few trips , however a lot less trips than if I just use the bucket ....

You might look for a cheap-o worn out trailer to pull behind your tractor. I use my 'retired' 4x8 to pull hay around the pasture.

If you can weld, a low capacity 3pt carry all should just require some pins, scrap angle-iron, and some sparks.
