You have to look at their chart. There's a pressure limitation on the larger displacement motors. You can get the torque back by changing the chain reduction ratio.

Here's their literature.

look at pages 122 and 123 The 9.6 cu in can handle 3000 psi. at 18 gpm.

The 14.9 has the same flow specs the 9.6 has so why would it not handle 3000psi/18gpm? On page 119 is the comparisons.

I think it's because they don't want the max pressure and max flow to happen at the same time on that large a motor. It's putting out a lot of torque at that pressure and the internal parts might wear rapidly at max rpm.

It doesn't show operation in that condition on the chart. They must have tested it to come to that conclusion.

Last question. 11.9 or 9.6?

On the 11.9 it only shows operation up to 16 gpm at 3000 psi. Looks to me that 9.6 is the better choice and you can use all the power your loader can put out. Check out what rpm you want the rake to go and what sprockets you'll use to make sure it will work.

Just when I think I have it all figured out you drop that on me. I've also ran across this one. The TQ numbers look better. 15.9 cu in WHITE DRIVE PRODUCTS 5:coffee:A111ZAAAA HYDRAULIC MOTOR

Looks like it's bi-directional. The ccw and cw in the chart just refers to how the ports a hooked up internally.

Yeah it says bi-directional. I guess Im going with that one since I need other parts from there also. I would like to stay around 1:1, its lets confusing and one less thing I have to try and figure out. Harley uses the 119-1118 with a 1:1 22t/22t sprocket setup and its 384 rpm if I remember correctly. As long as Im close to that I should be good.
