You have to look at their chart. There's a pressure limitation on the larger displacement motors. You can get the torque back by changing the chain reduction ratio.

look at pages 122 and 123 The 9.6 cu in can handle 3000 psi. at 18 gpm.
The 14.9 has the same flow specs the 9.6 has so why would it not handle 3000psi/18gpm? On page 119 is the comparisons.
