This is something that confuses the heck out of me. Buck at EFC was telling me that he puts air blast sprayers on 17 hp yanmar tractors with no problem. 150 gallon pull type and either 50 or 100 gallon three-point. Then the new holland dealer tells me that's impossible. As I was at the dealer, there was an orchard owner saying he pulls a 300 gallon air blast sprayer with no problem with a TC29A!!

I figure worst case scenario, I just get a smaller sprayer and have to make more trips. Maybe by the time I get to planting 30 acres of vineyard I will have enough cash to buy a TN70F...

I know that all ground is not like here in NY but for the weight of some tractors and their load on the right hill I think you could have a very interesting ride!

I would probably go with a smaller tractor and rent a full size backhoe or skid steer for a week and move all your rocks and get the heavy lifting done.

Seriously though.
300gal * 8pds/gal = 2400 pounds
Trailer sprayer empty weight ~ 600 pounds
Total weight = 3000 pounds

TC29 is about 2588 pounds, 2700 if you add a heavy weight driver like me.

Should be able to pull the 3000 sprayer on firm level ground, but slopes may give you trouble. And quick starts and stops is out.
