7 months and they have not sold out?
Well as it ends up when I went to sign the papers I found out the 36H tractor was a tier 4. Didn't want that. They could not find a tier 3 in the 36 hp model not even a gear tractor. They did find LM 45H in another store. They are having it shipped and they are covering the fright and it also comes with a sun shade. I had really rather have the smaller tractor as I have several 75 hp farmtrac tractors. Price went up to $22500
The LM45H is also tier 4. You would need the LM43 to have the Perkins diesel. The 45 is a Yanmar with DPF. I have only seen one person with any problems with this engine so far, unlike the Mahindra engine I the 25XX series.
Btown you are spot on. The tractot is a LM45 and it was delivered to the store yesterday. He called me and said he was sorry when he found out it had regen. Said it didn't have to have the fluid though. I told him the main reason I wanted to buy the tractor was that it was to be a tier 3.
Not sure why the dealer didn't know this, but Tier 3 was only for 75HP and above prior to 2011. Anything under 75HP, or past 2011, has been Tier 4 interim or Tier 4 final. You won't find any recent-year tractors in the HP range you're shopping that are Tier 3. They don't exist.
He was a Cablea's power sports salesman. Cablea's is getting away from tractors. He said he could find a older tier 3 at another store and have it shipped in. These salesman seem to know a lot more about boats than they do about tractors. When the tractor cam it their mechanic told him it had regen on it. So he offered me $500 to keep it. I guess I should have done more research on cablea's tractors myself.
Truth be known, you probably got a good tractor at a great price. I wouldn't worry about the tier 4.
I hope so. I have been doing research on removing the filtering media in the DPF. A little cutting and welding. Computer should not do a regen then.
