Had a reader at www.farmjeep.com ask for help in iding a box blade that was being used on a Jeep with a 3-pt hitch. I don't have any info other than that. I haven't seen a lot of box blades made specifically for Jeeps (lots of back blades)
Any idea of maker or date?
Thanks,
Barry

Good Lord... that guy has been trying to sell that on Criag's List for as long as I knew about Craig's List...

A farm Jeep's 3-point hitch was a standard implement type. Any Cat 1 implement fits. This isn't one.

I'm not saying it wasn't on a Jeep, just that every Jeep 3pt hitch I've seen has been standard design.

Maybe part of a front blade? Maybe missing parts?

Looks a lot more like a snow pusher than a rear blade.

Definitely not a rear BB. I agree with @bcp its a Snow pusher. The springs allow it roll under if the load gets to heavy. Preventing damage to the pusher and the rig being used to push. Plus if you look close you can see the plastic/composite(? I think Pic is blurry) wear edge on the inside bottom (it's coming loose on the corner). This prevents damage to asphalt when plowing snow, and would be useless as a BB cutting edge.
