Set the record straight!!!!! The dealer was contacted at home this past Sunday. We bought the tractor through a friend that was kind enough to give me his cell number. The dealer responded with very deep concern since he could hear the tractor rev at the work site over the phone, The dealer went to his shop and spent several hours researching the issue. He call us back with several questions and asked me to check out several areas on the tractor . To those that are sceptic's keep in mind that some people actually work on weekends even Labor Day weekend. I never said that the tractor was take to the dealer. As far as I know it is still at the work site. To the responder that said he can smell something -Yeah his own *******!!If you have nothing constructive to say. Move on!!!! I thought this sort of information may not only help me but others.

dont get excited hendersoncm,we all want you to find out whats wrong with your tractor, your's is the first post with anything like this happening on that series of machine, all we are looking for is more info, like what is the defect your dealer told you about!

as far as people being sceptical becuase you are a new poster, with a problem nobody has heard of before,is becuase if you read these threads long enough you will see there are a lot of people with nothing better to do than than to go around posting things that are not true.

mostly they are people that are jealous that they bought an inferior machine, and want to take thier frustation out on someone,or they have the ford vs chevy mentality,

please give more information so the readers of tbn can put thier noodles to use,

but if i was you i wouldnt use it until your dealer figures out what the cause is, and i think everyone here will be waiting for the word........chris

An update on the Tractor Situation

Spoke with the dealer who spoke with the Kioti service rep. The rep believes the problem is a new type or style of fuel injection pump that the timing teeth on it may have cracked which in turn created to much pressure for the selonoid to shut off. This is still preliminary when the problem is finally diagnosed I will be sure and pass it on.

I had one DK45s do the same thing along with a ck30 that happend the other day. The DK45S has a fuel rack with teeth that opens up the 4 injectors like a screw which opens the fuel and closes the fuel. At times the teeth may jam in the open position or the close position not letting it start. If you take off the front cover (4 nuts i think) of the injection pump (radiator side) there is a rod or rack that may stick. Pull on it with a magnet or push it in lightly. If it does not start like the CK30 did, behind the fuel injection pump (firewall side) there is a long plug that you can remove with a 19mm and you can push on the rod from there as well with a 1/4 deep well socket. Just give it a tap and then it should start. Remember the rod stuck to the rear of the machine it will not start. The rod stuck forward then it will rev high. The best thing is to go to the dealer and have him install a new injection pump and forget about it.

This is for information only and not to be attempted without the supervision of an adult.

Thats the plan at this point. The dealer also indicated the engine must be retimed.

Okay so who's tractor is it?
I see VirgilBees that you are getting the problem taken care of. Does Hendersomcm have the same problem or is it the same machine?

In the other duplicate thread VirgilBees said his brother also posted it, so it is probably the same machine.

Just so I can imagine this, the tractor will either not start or it will get full fuel? Does the engine RPM jump to governed RPM or does it go sky high RPM under full fuel? I would love to hear a Kioti diesel reved to 4 5k but not mine.

Tell us again how pushing down on the clutch did not disconnect the engine from the driveline.

I guess I'm still confused on the how it almost killed two people part.
