I agree,the LA853 is a nice loader, but I was refering to a Century 2028 (28hp tractor) which is what F350Lawman stated he is considering. The LA853 is designed for a minimum 43hp (4330) tractor.
Comparing a LA513 would be more accurate in this instance.
The C50 loader on a 28hp tractor compares most favorably against other loaders designed for 28-30hp tractors, except maybe the rollback angle.
The standard features of the C50 loader on this size tractor are hard to beat. (Massive frame, single lever quick-attach bucket, fast attach/detach pedistal mount ,and fender mount cable control joystick control with float and lock.)
There are a lot of good loaders available for tractors, and we sell 5 different brands--but the C50 on a 28 horse CUT is not matched by any other. In fact, we have a hard time selling the C30 on a 2028 if it is sitting next to a tractor with a C50 on it---even though they both spec-out about the same. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I was obviously a little confused while at the Century Tractor website, thanks for the clarification. I assumed since it was the largest loader I saw while visiting their website at a paultry 36K dialup and some pretty slow loading graphics, it fit the largest tractor. Perhaps then the Kubota LA 723 like that on my L3830 which also fits the L3130 HST, a 31 HP or 23HP PTO could also be considered. I think that simply using HP or displacement as the guide to compare tractors is but one thing to consider. I actually take the loader among other things into consideration to get the tractors arranged into a category as well. Anyway, all a moot point as I see he decided on a JD 790 which ironically is what my neighbor is selling only with a different loader, I think its called a 70 or a 90, a really light weight loader.
