Hey all,
Im new to the forum, so if im posting this in the wrong section, my bad.
My family owns some land, purchase by my grandfather 20 years back, (He has since passed). He bought this tractor in the 1970's. After he died, my bonehead uncle (who also has died since then) sold it for a mere 25 dollars to the next door neighbor. Yea it was old, buy my grandpa took good care of his stuff and my impression was all it needed was a new mower belt. Im kinda embarassed to ask the guy to buy it back, so im expanding my options. I grew up riding this tractor and would like a shot at one like it (if not the same one). Can you identify the model or year?? What I know is it is a Sears and the two numbers on the side of the hood say 10 and 5. I think 10 HP and 5 speed.
Dont be confused by the muffler. Gramps put that on after he bought it.
