Well, good, bad or indifferent, I bought the tractor and implements listed at the beginning of this post. His original price was $12.5K then came down to $12K. I thought about it for a couple of days (with the help of you guys here on TBN) and told him I was going to back out of the deal. I then told him I couldn't give him more than $10K, and guess what? He took it! So now that I have it and all the attachments home, and have tried some of them out, I'm quite pleased. I guess that's what matters most. As I've mentioned before, my original plan was to get a JD2320 in the Spring when it became available. Since it appears John Deere is giving only about 9% discount on these new models, I think I may move up (?) to a 2320 in a year or two when the discounts may be deeper and I've had time spruce up the cosmetic shortfalls of my 4100.
