I'm really new to this. I posted a few days ago and yall made some good suggestions and talk me into the L3130 with the LA 723 loader. I went to the local dealer and ask for a price on a "L3130 HST with a LA 723 loader". He gave me a price but then I see discussions in other threads on here about the quick disconnect on the 723. Is this the way the 723 comes or is this an option? I also see topics on different bucket sizes. What I'm getting at is, what questions should I be asking the dealer? I just ask for the price on these two items and he gave them to me. Is there something he's not telling me or am I just too dumb to know what questions to ask? Exactly what is he probably quoting me with just my one question? The quote was $13,904 for the L3130HST and $3,823 for the LA723. Thanks in advance for all the help.

I found when i was pricing my 3130 that the easiest way to do it was to go to the MN state link. You can find on TBN, that has the list prices for a 3130 gst or hst. or what ever you want, and print it out. Then ask all the questions you want on TBN ,go to the dealer tell him what you think you want have him give you a quote making sure he uses the part number for every component piece by piece when you get into implements they will all sell different brands so its hard to compare but the part number is the most important thing some will use generic terms like 723 loader $5000 well that wont tell you what size bucket or which valve and so on. and when it gets down to time to buy make sure your price work sheet and P.O. part numbers match dont take anyones word even if he seams like a nice old man. find that state of Mn web site you will see all of the factory options good luck your going to love it!

Here is a link to the MN site. Click Here. Your prices look good.
The quick disconnect feature is a extra. Prices and part #s for the loader are in the "b" section below Kubota L-30 Series.

Hello Poli, and welcome. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

You've received some good information already, so I won't need to really add to it.

I would, however, suggest that a good dealer should be asking you a lot of questions too. Now I'm not saying the dealership or salesperson that you're talking with isn't good.

What I am saying is that a really good salesperson is going to be asking about what you plan to do with the tractor, and how big is your property, and who else will be operating it, and what some of the specific projects you want to do are, and.....

Well, you get the idea. (S)he will be asking so that they can help you determine which model of tractor might fit you and your situation the best.

Make sure that they know that you're serious about buying a tractor from them. Sometimes a salesperson will be indifferent if they think the customer isn't really serious about buying.

The quick disconnect is an option and the HD bucket is an option to most dealers. I had to specify this to my dealer and pay extra bucks but they were well worth it.

Did you get a GrandL 30 series brochure, the bucket options and size are listed on page 31, and the "Skid steer Type Hitch" for the FEL on page 25.
