Several, all used and abused.
I'm working on a house for a lady who recently became a widow. Her husband had retired and started a massive remodel of their house, then passed away about half way through it. His buddy tried to take over, but wasn't really up to it. I'm finishing things off, fixing a few things, and trying to understand what his plan was so she will be happy with it when I'm done.

One of the things that I'm struggling with is building two kitchen cabinets to match the existing cabinets. He started building a pantry that changed where the cabinets where, so I can either build a few doors to match, or spend a lot of her money to build brand new doors for all of the kitchen. My first choice is to build a couple doors and save her as much money as I can.

The picture shows what I need. I've searched Rockler, Amazon and Grizzly without any luck. Usually I can find whatever I want on those websites. Where else should I look? What is this cut called? I need it for the rail and stiles of the door. The panels are flat.

Thank you,
Eddie

If I am interpreting your problem correctly, that looks like 2 different trim pieces, coped to fit the corner. The larger is square with one corner rounded over, the other is shoe or quarter round.

It's all one piece, cut with a single router bit, or shaper bit. I don't have a shaper, so I'm hoping that I can find a router bit like this. I believe the kitchen was built 30 years ago.

@EddieWalker You are the guy on site, but from your photo, it sure looks like two pieces of trim.

I think what you want might be a double round over bit.

That looks really close, and if I can't find the exact router bit, I'm sure I can make this work!!! Thank you.

Great! Try searching "double router bit" and scroll through the images. There are lots of them out there, and there is always slightly regrinding one to what you want.

All the best,

Peter

It may indeed be one piece of wood but made in two passes, the first pass with the finish side flat on the router table and the second pass with the wood against a fence to complete the end bead. Even if you can't find a bit that works I bet you could replicate it in a two part process.

Can you work a deal with her to buy/use his shaper and tooling if it's still available?

There are companies that will custom grind bits, usually for shapers though, and it probably won't be cheap especially if you want carbide.

Seems like the old timers used to hand file their profile on a handplane blade blank and do them manually. Wouldn't be much wood to remove from a stepped strip of wood.

Is this specific bit or cutting head still in his stuff?

Wonder if it is a router bit or a cutting head for his table saw? Sears used to sell table saw cutting heads with different profiles as accessories for their table saws 30ish years ago.
