Help On Choosing Options On JD 2320

I'm told that the R1's are easier on the lawn than R4's.

Whoever told you that is dead wrong! Unless that meant/or you mis-understood them to say R3's.

If I may ask, what made you choose the 2320 over the 2520? I've been considering both as well.

There are two different reasons... 1) financial, 2) I think the 2520 is really more power than I needed anyway.

Regarding the blower, it is the way to go when moving big snow. The front light are partially blocked by the blower, but you can get by. Once or twice up and down the driveway I've got no complaints, but if you're gonna spend a LOT of time in the dark you'll eventually want additional lighting anyway.

I gotta tell you.....
I live in Maine..... another place not known for mild winters....!
I bought a 2305 and a snowblower front attachment. I spent more time changing shear pins than I ever did blowing snow. My local guys tried fixing the thing three or four time I finally told them to come get it ....
Now I do everything with the Bucket.
And am happy to say this year will be with my NEW 2520!!!!!

The blower had a problem where the primary fan was sliding back on its shaft and fetching up on the housing. Christ they taped the thing new set holes and the works, they just could not get the fan to stay put!!!

Everyone says mine must have been a LEMON, Im just glad its gone
