Greetings,
I was not looking, but I came across a 1950 Farmall H tricycle style
tractor yesterday, with a post hole digger attached. Looking at it, it
is a pile of rust. However, it runs well, and the post hole digger works well.
Old farmer is selling out, and has no use for it. His father bought it new
in 1950. Asking $800.00. Tires old, but holding air. Alot of rust. 6 volt.
Is this old girl worth $800.00. What is going price for something like this?
Rust is no big deal. I am pretty good at painting. Any opinions appreciated.
Thanks!!! Rick

does it have 2 knobs on the side of the oil pan.. one a lil higher than the other.

if so.. fill with oil till it runs out the top valve. if you open the bottomk valva and none drips.. it's low/

The guy I orderd from was great to deal with.. He explained they bought tires by the container load. Yeah, they are more than likely China, or India tires, but I found most of what I wanted in bias tires were discontinued here in the U.S.

Shipping time was 3 days... Again, not bad...

I looked on the Case/IH parts site, and a 11.00 X 38 was a standard size, depending on the rim width. 12.00 X 38 was as wide as came stock. 9.00 X 38 and 10.00 X 38 were available too...
