Help on Farmall H price

i am having ignition problems on my 1950 h farmall. if i run a hot wire from the battery to the coil i get fire. does any know where the ignition wire from the key switch should run to?

jump the switch out.. may be dirty contacts inthe switch.

the electrical box is easy to get to on that machine.. should be easy to replace out wires.. etc.
