I vote for thermostat 2Sounds like the thermostat cant make up it's mind to be full open or full closed.

I will be doing everything as a project: front cover seal, belt and tentioner, water pump, thermostat, flush, Timing chain, all hoses, etc. Might as well while I am in that work area.
Having no other vehicle to drive I did stop leak the front cover. Im sorry to tell you guys that. Never had to stop leak anything like that and it is upsetting. I have no other vehicle to get me to my full time job. Its been upsetting because that could leak coolant directly into the oil. Im trying to fix it this weekend at a friends heated garage. wish me luck
