Okay so I知 running into a slight issue, what kind of adapter would I need since it痴 a 1/2 shaft on the pump, and I believe it痴 a 1-1/2 inch on the crankshaft of the tractor. Would i need a step down adapter?

Can you post a picture of the shafts on the engine and pump?
What are you going to use for a tank for your pump?

I send some pics, I did measure and I was way off it is a 5/8 inch shaft so ill probably end up using a love joy. My res will probably be built into the upright or a external tank mounted to the upright

IMG_4766.JPG This is the Front crank PTO that I would be attaching to I counted the splines and theres 21, I'm really not sure how to attach the pump to this originally I thought lovejoy coupler, but I cant get on in the 21 tooth

Many of the early model B series had crankshafts with a splined stub protruding out from the front of the engine.

The issue is finding a female fitting with the same spline diameter and number of splines. There are part numbers to connect a front pump but no one has been able to find these parts for years.

70050-00056 Roller Chain Times 2
70050-00110 Sprocket Shaft
70050-00111 Sprocket W/18 - 22 Spline
70050-00112 Sprocket W/9/16 Bore

Another owner said this:

I am going to look into the Fenner shrink disk. I don't care that I use OEM parts. There is space for another pulley if I wanted to use a 2nd pulley. But the Fenner product seems to be designed for this application. I'll research how to do a s/d. The shrink disk has a collar with several screws that when tightened compress a sleeve around a shaft without the need for a press ( removing the crankshaft etc ).

Suggest you look at the pictures in post # 8 of this link. Gives you an idea of how the pump is typically connected using a short shaft and two couplings, one at each shaft end.

What is the spacing on the 3 bolt holes? Would a Massey flange mount such as: https://www.ebay.com/i/324017895067?chn=ps bolt up with some spacers?
5-1/4" Diameter with 3 Bushings
Mounting Holes 3.465" on Center
4" Bolt Circle
3/4" Left Hand Threaded Center Hole

Its possible that that could work, I'm not 100% on the size, I was checking out the fenner disk, I'm almost temped to put a coupler on it and put a weld on it i really don't want to do that honestly, I have plenty of time as I have just ordered the steel to build the loader.

Looking at the Pictures there Dave said to look at it looks fairly simple, A sprocket coming off the crank and a sprocket off the pump with a double chain, trying to find a sprocket that fits on the crank shaft may be a challenge this is where its tempting to weld it on the shaft with a sprocket that slides on unless I can find one that fits i really would hate to weld it

The double chain is actually part of a flex coupling in the drive line to take up any misalignment white still transmitting power.

You buy them as an assembly which includes the double chain.
