There could already be a plug in for 12V in the back. Look real good for a 2 wire plug in back at the 3 point.

How do I figure out if the speaker draws power when the tractor is turned off?

Sorry for the ignorant girl questions..

A good small radio/MP3 unit and a good headphone set would work alot better on a tractor without a cab.
It serve two purpose's, help protect your hearing and let you have your tunes at the same time.

Every tractor is going to be a little different in how the wiring is done, and where you would look for adding things. If it was me, I would go back to my dealer and ask one of the mechanics to point out on a similar tractor in the lot where he would connect the wires. While I don't have a Kubota, I have been to the dealer quite a few times for Land Pride stuff and I've found them to be very helpful when asked for assistance.

I bet there are 2 or 3 wires with plugs on them under the seat on that tractor. You may have a hard time getting a matching plug at somewhere besides kubota. May need to cut of the existing and replace with a plug you can match.

I'd second the idea of ear buds or something. I use those when mowing hay. Brand I have is KOSS. They were relatively cheap (~$15) and they block out the sound well enough that I can listen even to audio books and such.

A basic DMM (digital multimeter) will include a current measuring function. You put it inline with the power cable and check the measurement while its off. If it draws more than about 10mA while "off" then it should go on a switched circuit.

Use solder and shrink wrap for any wire splices. Cover any exposed wire with a plastic wire wrap for exposure. Use quick ties for securing. Somewhere put in an off/on switch.

Get a decent pair of noise cancelling, blue tooth headphones. 3m makes some good ones and often have them in stock at Wally world.
