Any advice on the installation of a Woods Subframe for a BH80X on a Mahindra 3510?
Local Tractor repair shop does not want to tackle it and can't find anyone local that works on tractors.
I am buying unit from Rossels and shipping to me. saved at least 2K this way.
I have read the manual for the subframe and it looks like something I can do myself.
Anyone ever done this and any tips or advice??

All i can say is, take it slow. I put my backhoe on myself. Used my forks to take the hoe off the truck. Subframe was heavy, hard moving around. Hook up the pto pump. My brother said, how did you put that on yourself. I told him, very carefully.:)

I purchased a woods 4 point subframe for my Kubota L3130 and non woods 3 pth backhoe from a member here on TBN. Installing it was easier than I thought it would be. I simply followed the instructions. It took me a few hours do get it done by myself. I did not have to modify my hydraulics at all.

I say give it a try it's not that difficult. Easier if you have a helper.

I installed the subframe for my BH80-x on my Kubota myself. It went very smoothly, following the installation instructions. The subframe was on the tractor in about an hour using hand tools. I would recommend that you have a decent torque wrench handy.

Go for it, and if you have any hang-ups, we'll be here to help in any way we can. If you were nearby, I'd be happy to lend a hand in person.

Thanks for the offer!! If you were closer we would get together, Git-er-Done and throw something dead on the grill for dinner!

I may tackle it my self, Looking for the little tricks that do it yourselfers always figuire out after the Git-er-Done is done!

Kneedeep,
I had my Woods BH90-X backhoe and subframe installed by a tractor shop (not my brand) near me and while I was in their office, they made a toll free 800 call tothe Woods' tech line and discussed the normal set up time for the complete install: subframe, hose kit, assembly of the hoe and hydraulic thumb-8 hours. Turns out it came in at 7 hours. I had Rosseel's deliver it to their shop and they forked it off the truck and did a good installation job.
If you do decide to hire others to do the work, be sure to say that you want everything that is removed from your tractor set aside for your recovery, bolts, nuts and plate stock.
