I would be happy to pay a fair price - Not cheap can mean anything though:)

Do you have an update on the 3rd function install?
Dealer quoted me 1500 for parts and install, would like to save some money by doing it myself.

Let's hold that thought for now about the brush guards 😁, but yes it will be a future endeavor. Boating and vacation season is kicking in.

I have not started the 3rd function kit install yet, the WR Long kit has already been purchased. Many dealers here recommend them. This kit cost me $1079 shipped but I added the hydraulic pressure test kit and some extra nylon sleeve also. So your installed price seems good to me considering what shop prices are. My issue is there is no great place to install the solenoid valve, and no one has done a YT video install for the GC, yet. I will install my solenoid in this area with a guard when complete.

I just joined here, but bought my GC 1725 MB over 3 years ago, over 675 hours on My Little Baby Fergie now ...

I too agree the BH hoses are stupid, I ended up getting my dealer to reroute the lines to the ROPS and end in female quick connects, extended the hoses on the BH, they way I think it should be ...

I too broke off the lights, after the third time I tossed them in the trash, (I don't drive on the road!) salvaged the work light, and put it inside, and up higher ... I never use my arm rests.

I also got the "Grampa Step" as I call it when I ordered the Sentinel ... They now also offer the right side one too ... Yes, it was hard to replace the much heavier duty factory lower support/guard.

Change your front axle fluid before 50 hours, or right now if it's past that, do not wait until the book says to do it! This about 200 hours!!! Front axle turns all the time the tires turn, and no filter!

DAY 163

No loader or backhoe work since I installed the MMM. About 35 hours now and enjoying mowing with it, only con is the rough ass riding seat.

Finally got around to installing the 3rd function kit. Cannot find detailed YT video for this so uploading now. Nothing professional, just pics and video clips during the install. Part 1 is the overview, and Parts 2 - 4 provides all the details. Videos and YT required waaaaaaaaay too much time, gotta get back on the tractor!

Nice job and writeup/video.

But your machine is way too clean! (jealous)

DAY 277

Mowing all summer long and just finished mulching leaves. Soon to remove the MMM and install FEL and BH for some winter project work.

While mowing the ride is still rough as heck, did some investigating on rear filled tires. I found them to be too full and at 10 psi (max tire rating is 20psi). I know the R4's are NOT made for the smooth ride, maybe R14's in the future.

I set out to see how full they were, I found right side about 1" higher than the outer rim, and the left just a little lower. Too me that is a little too full, not much room for air or tire compression. How high are you guys running?

I lowered the level with the valve stem at the 11 o'clock position.
Right side removed 96 oz = 6lb.
Left side removed 78 oz = 4.3lb
Note my tires weighed 142lb and 137lb originally. So I'm still somewhere 130ish each, 260 lb total wheel ballast.
I ended up staying with 10 psi tire pressure. Not expecting it to be much different, the ride is noticeably better. Will work on those seat springs soon.

I set out to make the Massey a leaf mulching machine and succeeded. Leaves shiver at the sound of the Iseki firing up. Need to keep a leaf blower close by to remove dust and clean radiator screen, had one overheating event to prove it.

Much research and found the closet Gator Blade available.

Then came the custom chute blocker install.

I fill mine to the 12 O'clock position, and run 10 PSI in the rears too ...
