These guys are giving you good advice. I still think you should lean toward the hydrostatic trans for the shape and features of your lawn. I don't think you'll have trouble getting into one within your budget.
That BX22 would make quick work of your lawn so you wouldn't have to mow/w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif. But then you'd need a tank to get thru it.
