That is a great machine, you should do well!

You still can join our Deere club! Course we have a Kubota guy collecting dues - he'll take 'em from ANYBODY!!! We really should review the bylaws... or the inlaws or something!

Have Fun!!

I have to hold true to the old saying I wouldn't want to be a member of any club that would want someone like me as a member. LOL

Update on Kubota purchase.

Very nice tractor. I have only played with it a little but seems to be very solid and easy to operate. I used the backhoe a little and did a little pushing with the bucket.

There are only two things I see so far that draw attention. I'd like to add they are petty gripes.

Kubota seems to over engineer things a bit in comparison to my old Deere. To many loose pins to pull and replace. They are really not needed. The attachments look easy enough to attach/detach but have a few to many steps as apposed to the Deere. No big deal just on observation. For example the bucket stands where not needed on my Deere and there where no pins to pull and play with you simply pulled up hooked your lines pulled under rolled the bucket, when it was aligned you pulled a rod and you were done, all donefrom the seat(except the lines). On and off in 2 minutes flat.

Second the paint scratchs way to easy. I did just a very small pile of black dirt with the bucket and it has the paint coming off or badly scratched already. When I traded my old Deere the bucket after tons and tons of moving fill was still mostly black. Again not that big a deal but something I noticed.

With all that said I think I am going to be very happy with the choice. Kubota has a lot of nice features and this tractor really feels solid even when I pulled it down on my beach, this is an entry point I dreaded with my Deere, which really isn't a fair comparison as theDeere was 1/2 the size. I was on a pretty good grade sideways which the tractor handled just fine.

Thanks to all those that gave me input on this purchase.
