Help with drum mower

Hi, I have just brought a KM24CR drum mower (fahr) and im not sure how to use it, does the drum under the blades need to be on the ground or off of the ground, I.E. how high should the clearance be while mowing? any help in general with the machine will be very much appreciated. Matt

Hi steve, dont have one and they seem to be non existant here in australia, most of the online stores that do have them wont ship to australia either, if any one has one i would be willing to buy it from them. matt

i try to run mine a few inches off ground in a good field if the field is rough i run it higher to try to keep it from hitting stuff

This drum mower is designed to run with the round saucers on the ground. The bottom saucers free-wheel. YouTube - Massey Ferguson 165 and PZ CM 165 mower

Why would they not ship to Australia?
